Privacy Policy: TCLP USPTO Filler

TCLP USPTO Filler is a Chrome extension used only by the staff of Trevor Caudle Law Practice, PC (“the firm”). It fills United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) forms from the firm’s internal dashboard and the firm’s own client worksheets. It is not offered to the public.
What information it handles
To fill a filing, the extension reads information the firm already holds for its clients, such as names, business names, mailing and domicile addresses, email addresses, signatory names and titles, trademark wording, and descriptions of goods and services. It reads this from the firm’s TM Application Worksheet in Google Docs, or from what firm staff type into the dashboard.
How it uses that information
- It enters the information into USPTO forms on teas.uspto.gov and trademarkcenter.uspto.gov, in a browser tab the extension opens for that filing.
- When a form is sent for the client’s signature, it sends the filing’s details (such as the client code, mark, signatory name and fee) to the firm’s own Zapier automation, which prepares an email to the client in the firm’s own email account for a person at the firm to review.
- It keeps the filing in progress in the browser’s own extension storage on that computer, so it can move from page to page. That record is replaced when the next filing starts.
What it does not do
- It does not sell, rent or share information with anyone outside the firm, other than entering it into the USPTO forms being filed.
- It does not use information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or any purpose other than preparing the firm’s USPTO filings.
- It does not track browsing, collect analytics, or read pages other than the USPTO forms, the firm’s dashboard and the firm’s worksheets.
- It never submits a filing or makes a payment. A person at the firm always does that.
